Covering the following locations: Edinburgh, Glasgow

We are currently recruiting for a Business Development Specialist to cover Scotland for an established company that provides the best in point of care and laboratory analysis for the detection of drugs and alcohol for customers within the healthcare sector & workplace.

The successful candidate will be responsible for discovering new business opportunities, providing demonstrations and customer training.

Key responsibilities include:
· Maintain detailed knowledge of the company's products and services.
· Keep abreast of competitor developments.
· Attend customer contact review meetings and uncover customer requirements.
· Provide customer demonstrations and hold formal training sessions.
· Attend weekly conference calls and head office team meetings.
· To participate in any relevant training as required.
· Provide monthly reports to UK Sales Manager.
· Account manage existing client base.
· To act in accordance with the targets set by the Company and/or Sales Manager.
· To produce and submit accurate expenses reports.

Profile:
My client is looking for a driven candidate from a sales background with a track record of developing relationships and increasing new business, ideally within the point-of-care testing space.
OR Ex-NHS and ex-substance misuse/mental health staff with a commerical understanding
