Business Development Manager

Exciting Opportunity for a scientist with Capital Sales experience to join an innovative and globally recognised premium brand manufacturer of environmental simulation chambers for scientific & industrial laboratories.

Territory: London, Oxford, Cambridgeshire
Products: Simulation Chambers

Purpose of this Position:
The Business Development Manager is responsible for supporting the growth of the world's largest specialist in simulation chambers.They will be a credible, likeable professional individual highly motivated to execute sales leads and prospects. In addition to supporting clients needs and matching them with a tailored solution. The Business Development manager will adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes, making sure they communicate and implement these within their team.

Key Responsibilities:
· Managing and generating the order income on a monthly basis to meet and exceed annual targets.
· Driving the company's sales strategy within the sales regions in order to meet sales goals and profitability.
· Developing Global distribution partners Sales reps, Key Accounts and Target Accounts within a sales region.
· Preparation for effective execution of sales leads and prospects.
· Initiation and coordination of a plan to penetrate new customers.
· Conducting one-to-one face meetings with customers, distributors sales guys / key accounts and target accounts daily.
· Selling directly to end customers and selling products via the distribution partners.
· Generating leads, asking probing questions, using most appropriate features & benefits based on client's needs and matching with a tailored solution.
· Capturing all sales opportunities.
· Responding to tenders and product requests for information in a timely manner.
· Providing on-site product presentations, trainings and applications support for customers and dealers.
· Delivering feedback on customer requirements for the development of products and services.
· Providing timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all prospect applications.


What we are looking for:
· Preference for someone with experience in sales within manufacturing and/or life sciences industry.
· Strong communication skills including written, oral, email, telephone, and presentation.
· Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage multiple projects, objectives and deadlines.
· Strong negotiation skills and ability to initiate and develop both professional and profitable relationships directly with customers and dealers.
· Strong client management skills.
· Capable of hands on problem-solving, with ability to generate ideas and solutions.
· Excellent ability to cope with competing demands and to prioritize tasks.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint and SAP.
· Willingness to be part of a global team of professionals.
· Preference for someone with knowledge of customers in the London region selling equipment.
· Excellent ability to close open quotes and opportunities on a monthly basis.
