Summary:
Using your strong sales process knowledge and experience, understanding of the Bioprocess to win specification in key process steps in the customer's antibody, recombinant protein, gene therapy and vaccine drug pipelines. This is accomplished by proactively identifying, prospecting and qualifying specification opportunities, positioning their technologies and capabilities, and directing technical specialist for assigned territory of UK and Ireland.

Job Responsibilities:
Develop new Biotech customers within assigned territory.
ln conjunction with marketing identify new Biotech opportunities (from pipeline/drug tracking information or company start up level.
Demonstrate accountability & ownership.
Work in close relationship with sales support functions (specialists) to coordinate activities, account hand over when appropriate and maximise sales.
Work with marketing to track and report progress metrics for penetration of drug pipeline.
Establishing good relationships with all the territories customers at process development levels.
Monitoring and reporting progress towards achieving projection (specification wins, upscale product sales).
Knowledge & Key Skills:
Degree (or equivalent), BS /BA in Science/Engineering (Biology/Biotech preferred).
Proven experience in the Biotech industry in a sales biased position within the UK.
Technical aptitude for Bio-pharmaceuticals, understanding of Bioscience and interested to learn bioprocessing.
Driving license and valid passport for travel, able and willing to travel (circa 60%) within UK and Ireland.
