LOCATION: Bedford Office based initially. The role will become more field based as the candidate progresses within the role.

This is a pivotal role in the development of Medical Systems Sales Team.
The role is responsible for ensuring that the order to sale processes are optimised to minimise the time required from quote to cash and will include:
" ownership of (SFDC) and other tools to ensure the main sales tool operates smoothly and contains the necessary data to facilitate as short a quote to cash process as possible.
" direct communication with customers, where required to minimise delivery roadblocks
" supporting the Sales Coordinator to prepare quotations and pricing.
" analysis of existing and competitors' customer install base to develop opportunities.
" working with account managers and distributors to identify consolidated opportunities for growth.

The role will also be responsible for managing and delivering projects and programmes aimed at providing growth to the business, as directed and agreed with the Business Unit Manager.

The role is targeted at developing talent for succession planning into Account Manager roles. As such the role will spend time in the field learning about our products and how they are used by our customers.

" Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification (completed within the last 24 months)
" Previous experience working within a sales environment and to targets (minimum 12 months)
" Excellent communication skills
" Confident with high levels of motivation, drive and enthusiasm
" Able to prioritise and meet deadlines
" Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
" Ability to build strong working relationships with customers and colleagues
" A real passion for sales and business development
" Full UK driving licence
" Willingness to travel/stay away overnight (The role is targeted at developing talent for succession planning into an Account Manager role, which will involve significant UK travel)
