Assembly Line Leader

Mettler-Toledo Safeline are currently recruiting for Experienced Assembly Line Leaders at our Royston site. These are exciting opportunities for candidates with previous experience gained within a similar role looking join a market leading organising with excellent scope for progression.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLES:




- To lead and motivate a team or assembly operatives
- Undertake the assembly of Safeline X-Ray products to defined procedures, specifications and drawings
- Understanding and interpretation of electrical circuit drawings to wire and test Safeline X-Ray products
- To operate safely and use various hand held tools including a soldering iron, hand drill and other bench and hand tools as directed
- Liaise as necessary with other departments on site with regards to receiving kits and moving finished items to stores
- To report and non-conformance through the defined procedure and assist the company in meeting its Quality and HS&E objectives

- Supervisory experience in a similar role
- Hands on assembly and/or manufacturing experience gained with small order or special purpose machinery
- Ability to understand and follow instruction
- Excellent attention to details
