Abbott Molecular Diagnostics are looking for a Sales Ambassador to cover the Bristol, Southampton & Swindon areas.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION:

As Sales Ambassador you will be responsible for maximizing sales in a territory where most of the business is from new customers and small percentage from existing customers.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Responsible for new business acquisition primarily; capital equipment and Molecular lab upgrades

Responsible for renewals of expiring contracts or new tender issued by existing customers

Establish value propositions and build business cases

Call on senior levels, manage multiple decision makers, create and establish relationships

Target, qualify & influence

Minimal post-sale involvement with customers – handoff to Customer Experience Organization, i.e. Ambassador

Negotiate long term contracts

Identify new business opportunities to expand current AMD share

Responsible for selling AMD total solutions to large, complex enterprise-named accounts focused on penetration and net new customer selling

EDUCATION

Bachelor or Master´s degree or comparable education and experience

BACKGROUND

Experience managing accounts

Experience working with senior level executives

Ability to influence team member activities (without direct reporting relationship)

Strong understanding of key stakeholders and customer dynamics

Strong solution selling and relationship building skills

Strong communication skills

Ability to identify and drive resolution of issues

Long-term, strategic focus on account

Job Package

Base salary up to £50000 per annum for the right person
20% bonus
