ROLE: Advanced Workflow Specialist - Confocal Microscopy
LOCATION: based in or around London, UK (Home Office based)

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Application Specialist Confocal Microscopy (m/f/d) based in or around London, UK (Home Office based).

Be part of an international Advanced Workflow team.
This role plays an integral part in helping us grow sales in Life Science Research in the UK and EMEA by supporting Sales Representatives with networking, product demonstrations, sharing your expertise on products, customer applications and by contributing to market development activities.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Support Pre-Sales & Sales activities:
- Support the Sales team in pre-sales activities such as product demonstrations, tailoring application-oriented system configurations and product knowledge
- Actively help shape the optimal sales and demonstration approach to maximise impact on customer
- Drive funnel and business growth by implementing our sales strategies in the field.
- Participate to sales activity planning with the Sales team
- Provide support for quotations and tenders as required

Support Customers
- Continuously provide support to customers by providing trainings on purchased systems and sharing application-oriented know-how.
- Carry the voice of customers internally

PERSON SPECIFICATION:
A degree in Life Sciences where microscopy is one of the main tools.
Proficient knowledge about microscopy applications involving confocal microscopy and advanced camera-based fluorescence microscopy, microscopy products and other optical microscope techniques.
Experience in a comparable role of microscopy system sales/applications or a microscopy related position at University.
Experience in conducting advanced microscopy experiments like STED, FLIM, FCS,
