Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Account Manager to join a specialist manufacturer with a great reputation!

PRODUCTS: Thermal desorption (supplying a comprehensive range of instruments, sampling equipment and consumables that enhance the analytical capability of GCMS)
TERRITORY: South UK (below Birmingham)
CLIENTS: Environmental, defence, petrol chemicals, government, academia

Growth of sales directly, to customers on a geographical basis within the UK
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and maximise the company's ongoing business with existing and discover prospective customers
Research application areas and business sectors to identify new potential sales opportunities, outside our CRM database
Meet and exceed pre-defined targets based on revenue, call rates, new opportunities generated
Respond to all inbound sales enquiries via phone, email, web chat etc. in a timely fashion
Produce quotations & proposals
Liaise with appropriate technical and commercial support personnel to ensure all relevant information is incorporated including any additional documentation required by the customer

A degree or higher level diploma in Chemistry or other relevant scientific subject
At least 3-5 years experience in a similar role
Excellent communication skills both written & verbal
High levels of computer literacy with extensive Microsoft Office experience
Familiarity with CRM software (Salesforce) would be advantageous
