We are working with a dynamic, innovative and growing scientific company who distribute molecular diagnostic solutions to the diagnostic market across the UK. They are looking for an Account Manager to join the business and it is a great opportunity for someone to make a real impact in a small but growing team-focused business with a passion for customer support!
Suitable for a biomedical scientist or a graduate (ideally with a molecular or other scientific background) with experience hands on laboratory experience looking for a commercial role.

CUSTOMERS: Hospital and Private Pathology Laboratories
TERRITORY: Wales and South West
This is a field-based role with travel to customer sites.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Establish excellent business relations with new and existing customers and so develop and increase sales revenues within the territory.
- Contact and visit selected customers to train/ demonstrate products/
- Support/ troubleshoot any technical issues and be the first point of contact for customers in your region.
- Organise meetings, seminars and exhibitions within the territory as required within budgets.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
- Degree or equivalent (ideally Biomedical or Biological science based)
- Experience working in a customer facing or target focused role either during or after university is preferred.-
- The client will also consider applicants with post-degree laboratory experience (clinical or non-clinical) looking to move into account management role.
- The candidate should be process driven and problem solving candidate who is looking to join a young, dynamic company who are in an early growth phase. You should share a passion for supporting/ training people and be determined to achieve your personal and our company expectations.
