A brilliant opportunity to move into scientific sales for a life scientist (ideally molecular biology or genetics with good academic and practical experience in PCR and associated molecular techniques) to join a specialist manufacturer of PCR kits and reagents! Experience working in a customer-focused role during or after university is strongly preferred.

PRODUCTS: PCR and DNA kits and reagents
CUSTOMERS: Academic and Research Labs
TERRITORY: London and South East

Role Responsibilities:
·Drive sales of kits and reagents to academic, biotechnology and pharmaceutical accounts across the Southwest, South Wales and West Midlands.
·Secure new business and develop / protect existing accounts.
·Build loyal relationships with end-users, laboratory managers, procurement and finance managers.
·Gain a real understanding of customers' experimental needs and tailor solutions that significantly improve laboratory workflow as well as financial performance.
·Attend exhibitions in order to increase market presence of the company's products.

Person Specification:
·Degree educated or higher in a science discipline i.e. molecular biology, biology or genetics with good academic and practical experience in PCR and associated molecular techniques.
·Clear and confident communicator with a strong commercial awareness and able to engage effectively at all levels.
·Self-motivated, results oriented and a strong work ethic.
·A genuine desire to move into scientific sales.
