Exciting opportunity for an experienced sales representative to join a leading company!

An Account Manager South East UK role for a leading scientific provider renowned for offering exceptional service and technical support. You'll be responsible for developing and expanding the business in an assigned geographic territory, by promoting and selling products and services to new and existing customers. The Life Science product portfolio the post holder will be responsible for are Instruments and Consumables.

The role entails cultivating and maintaining excellent business relationships with existing and potential customers and actively seeking new business opportunities.
Successful customer relationships resulting in profitable revenues are vital to the success of our business.
We are also committed to providing a high standard of service to all our customers in accordance with company procedures, policies and culture.
Acquire and maintain up to date product knowledge and competitive information on products/prices to fulfil customer needs, and where appropriate communicate and share information to Sales and Product Management teams.

Scientific degree level qualification (BSc) ideally in either chemistry, biochemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, genetics, or microbiology.
Some former sales experience is an advantage and familiarity with benchtop laboratory equipment and consumables is required.
Chromatography experience is essential
The position will require the individual to be fluent English
