Scientific sales of molecular and cell biology kits and instrumentation within an Oxford region.

PRODUCTS: Molecular and Cell Biology instruments and reagents
TERRITORY: Oxford Region ( Including: Reading, Northampton, Milton Keynes, Luton, Hemel Hempstead, Slough and Guilford)
CUSTOMERS: Academic and Research Laboratories

Scientific sales experience is preferred but also is a great opportunity for a commercially-minded scientist (molecular and/or cell biology background) with the drive and motivation to enter scientific technical sales as full training is provided!
The company have a team focused and friendly working environment, a great reputation within the life sciences market and partner with a number of high quality manufacturers to sell their products.

This role is 80% field-based, travelling to customer sites across the region and with one day per week working from home.

- Manage current customer accounts via developing and growing current business.
- Work closely with the Inside Sales Team to identify and develop new business through monitoring and qualifying leads to follow up on.
- Working closely with the Technical Support team to assist with instrument demonstrations and customer support.
- Ensure all relevant information is noted on the company's CRM system.
- Maintain an excellent knowledge of the market, gain intelligence and awareness of competitor activity.

A life sciences degree with post-degree laboratory experience or a PhD.
Awareness of developments in the molecular and cell biology research areas.
Excellent communication, listening skills and self-motivation.
Scientific sales experience or extensive laboratory experience (molecular and/or cell biology)with an enthusiasm for scientific sales.
