CLIENTS: Academic, Research, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Laboratories.

This company are a global and very well-respected manufacturer of life science products, with a great reputation in the market for product quality. The company are seeking applicants holding at least 1-2 years' experience of scientific sales (office or field-based) and with a life sciences background.
The successful recruit will work alongside a wider commercial team, supporting by a team of Field Service Engineers, Applications Specialists and office-based sales staff.

Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve and exceed the region sales target.
- Ensure an excellent level of customer service and promote the company, its products and activities at all levels within the market place across the territory.
- To develop the territory through effective planning, forecasting and management of the region in line with agreed business strategy.
- Liaise with all internal team members to ensure that customer requirements are met.
- Ensure excellent knowledge of the market, including competitor activities and market trends.
- Attendance at industry networking events, conferences and seminars when required.

Person Specification:
- Degree educated in a life science subject and an understanding of a range of life science laboratory techniques.
- Experience in scientific sales experience preferred.
- Excellent organizational, communication and listening skills
