Fantastic Opportunity for an experienced sales person to take on an Industrial Account Manager role with a global leader across the scientific sector!

Title: Account Manager - Industrial Segment
Location: Ireland - Remote

This is a great opportunity to develop and expand your experience and skill-set. You will be responsible for managing higher level customer relationships within a formal business review structure. You will join a dynamic and diverse team of 12, who are currently located across 4 countries; working with an experienced, knowledgeable manager who has been with the company for a significant number of years.

What will you do?
- Work to drive Industrial specific product sales, to support supplier partnerships and actively promote core products and value-added services.
- Develop and maintain a rounded understanding of the sales positioning of the company and its products specific to your market segment.
- Effectively communicate the segment-adapted value proposition to key stakeholders.
- Achieve or exceed sales and margin targets for your designated territory.
- Develop and execute a strategic and tactical sales plan for your specified territory to ensure revenue and gross margin objectives are met by using company defined financial models.
- Maintain effective customer relationships and assure continued market penetration and profitability by making in depth calls to end user and purchasing contacts
- Manage pricing within territory to optimize profitability
- Leverage to develop the territory pipeline and optimize territory coverage.

We are looking for someone who:
- Has demonstrable sales experience, preferably in the research laboratory industry and an understanding of laboratory equipment, consumables and/or chemicals.
- Experienced in leading and facilitating digital / virtual customer / supplier virtual meetings to support territory sales growth.
- Good organizational/team work, time management, communication, presentation, strategic selling and negotiating skills.
- Has native or fluent English - both spoken and written
- Experienced in a previous customer facing or commercial role and preferably with a scientific background.
- Bachelor's degree in a Scientific subject, or equivalent work experience - beneficial
- Depending on the location of the successful candidate and the situation with the global pandemic, some travel may be required
