"When the TUPE transfer was announced from the old provider to Zenopa in March 2015 there was a high level of trepidation within the team due to the behavior at the time of the old provider. Unfortunat..."ely the provider would not allow access for Zenopa to the staff involved in the TUPE transfer. This added to the uncertainty and the first meeting between Zenopa and the staff was carried out in the presence of the old provider two days prior to the transfer. In this meeting the old provider displayed hostility towards the consultant in front of the entire team which was extremely awkward and did nothing to elevate our concerns with the TUPE transfer. Despite the hostility shown from the old supplier Zenopa handled it in a very professional manner. Once the transfer took place on Monday 27th April 2015, everything was smooth. There was a high level of communication and reassurance from Zenopa and everything was explained in great detail. This put the team at ease about our future. The team were concerned about their pension and healthcare plans and there was some uncertainty about how this would be transferred smoothly, and this was the only thing that took a bit of time to sort out. There needed to be more clarity on this. Since the transfer, the team have been more upbeat and the general grim atmosphere has lifted resulting in an increase in business activities. We all feel confident to speak to Zenopa about any concerns we may have, whereas we never felt at ease with our old provider. There is a feeling that now there is more scope for improvement and expansion of the team since Zenopa have taken over the contract. Overall the outcome was a very smooth transfer from the old provider to Zenopa. Read more
