The Veterinary Advisory position offers an extremely varied workload and would suit an individual wishing to combine an exciting career in veterinary pharmaceutical research with the clinical practice of veterinary medicine:

Pre-requisites of the Veterinary Advisor positions:

Degree registerable with the RCVS and experience in Veterinary practice
Extensive training and client meetings form an important part of the role so strong interpersonal and presentation skills are essential

The role involves:

Close work with colleagues in sales and marketing
Providing a high level of technical support for new and existing products
Responding effectively to field enquiries from Veterinary surgeons and maintain the pharmacovigilance database
Setting up and directing pharmaceutical trials as well as retaining an active clinical interest by looking after certain product areas
