| Agilent Technologies expands USB testing solutions | Posted on 29/06/2009 in Scientific Agilent Technologies has expanded its portfolio of USB testing solutions with the launch of a new product.
Created as part of a joint project with Ellisys, the firm has announced the integration of a 2GSa/s digital channels and in-scope protocol viewer for USB in its Infiniium 9000 Series mixed signal oscilloscope.
In terms of 3.0 testing, Agilent claims to be able to provide researchers with a complete solution for transmitting and as well as an "extensive set" of products for use with 2.0.
Jim Choate, program manager USB applications at Agilent, said such products allow developers access to measurement tools that are at the "cutting-edge" of modern research.
"We are looking forward to closely work with Ellisys to further address the upcoming USB protocol analysis challenges. We aim to ensure our solutions help engineers meet the needs of testing for USB 2.0 and 3.0 compliance," he added.
Earlier this month, the company began its Digital Measurement Forum in Seoul, Korea.
