| Eppendorf markets product via online game | Posted on 26/06/2009 in Scientific Eppendorf has added a game to its website that researchers can play while waiting for their samples.
The company put the interactive tool on its online pages and pointed out it will highlight the benefits of microplates currently part of the product line-up.
Included in the game is a pipette round in while samples must be dropped at certain locations on the screen.
The Eppendorf Polypropylene Microplates offer LoBind for minimum sample losses, 30 per cent faster sample location and maximum sample recovery, according to the manufacturer.
Earlier this month, the company announced its win of the Scientists' Choice Award at the ACHEMA 2009 exhibition.
The prize was given by SelectScience for the Mastercycler Pro and named the best new life science product in 2008.
Eppendorf said more than 23,000 experts in the sector participated in the nomination process.
The firm was founded in 1998 and expanded operations to the Republic of Ireland in last year.
