| Agilent Technologies confirms validation of RFIC tool | Posted on 26/06/2009 in Scientific Agilent Technologies has confirmed the validation of a new verification tool for RFIC simulation.
The company said the GoldenGate analysis system will offer an acceleration solution for RF readiness for use with STMicroelectronics' 32 nm RF CMOS technology.
It is noted that after a period of collaboration, both STMicroelectronics and Agilent Technologies have succeeded in finalising what is an essential product for "market-critical processes".
Thierry Locquette, a spokesman for the latter firm, said the GoldenGate product addresses a sector-wide need to be ahead of the competition.
He added: "This kind of confidence comes from having past successes and is a bi-product of making the investment to build relationships like the one we have established with STMicroelectronics."
Agilent Technologies recently received AMCAD Engineering's endorsement for its electronic design automation software.
