Posted on 26/06/2009 in Scientific GE Healthcare's RSNA 2008 microsite has been recognised by a number of groups for its useability, it has emerged.
According to Fullhouse, the interactive marketing agency behind the project, a number of accolades have been received for the website.
In addition to an Interactive Media Award, the group is celebrating receipt of an Event Marketer Magazine Ex Award and the Milwaukee Business Marketing Association (BMA) Excellence Award.
The Chicago BMA Tower Award was also given and the RSNA 2008 microsite was named in the BMA Pro-Comm Best of Division honours.
Eric Zoromski, president at Fullhouse, said the combination of live events and web interactivity was leading to communications that start more quickly and last longer than ever before and this was thanks to such internet-based facilities.
"The GE Healthcare RSNA 2008 Microsite was created specifically to extend the audience experience and is still being used months after the event to access product information," he added.
Also available on the portal is a link to a conference-related Twitter feed.
