Red Consultancy has won a new brief with Huawei's consumer tech business, covering the UK, Ireland and Western Europe.
The contract will see Red working to raise the profile of the Huawei Consumer Business Group and its various product launches, while also bringing the brand's story to life, reports PRWeek.

Red takes over this contract from Hill and Knowlton Strategies, which will continue to work with Huawei on its global communications and social work.
A blended consumer tech, lifestyle and corporate account team led by Andi Donovan, Red Consultancy's acting managing director for its Play division, will take charge of this brief.
Ms Donovan said: "As an agency we've worked with mobile brands for over twenty years and are genuinely excited by the proposition of working with the 'next big thing'."
The Western Europe brief is new for Huawei, having been created when Winston Eavis arrived as director of PR and events for the company in May. He praised Red for the depth of its industry experience and creativity.
