Phonak provides accreditation to Honiton Hearing Centre

Consumer Healthcare News

Phonak has handed consultant-approved accreditation status to an East Devon hearing centre, in recognition for the high quality of care it provides.

Honiton Hearing Centre has received accreditation from the manufacturer to reflect the fact it provides an outstanding level of care to its customers, while also adhering to best practice standards in audiology, reports the Midweek Herald.

“Phonak has awarded consultant-approved accreditation to the Honiton Hearing Centre in East Devon.“

This comes after the centre was able to pass a series of audits set by an independent advisory panel, and reflects the longstanding relationship that the centre has fostered with Phonak.

Honiton Hearing Centre serves the town of Honiton, the wider Devon area and the south-west region, and received a centre of excellence award from the Association of Independent Hearing Healthcare Professionals shortly after opening.

Graham Hilton, Phonak's professional services director, said: "As market leader, we want to make it easier for members of the general public to find the best possible help, and we are confident the consultant-approved site will help people navigate the market."
