Mast to attend 2016 Microbe conference
Mast has announced that it will be attending this year's Microbe life science industry conference, which will be taking place from September 23rd to 25th in Sheffield.
During the event, the company will be launching the Mastdiscs Combi Carba Plus, an innovative five-disc system for the detection of MBL, KPC and OXA-48-like carbapenemases produced by Enterobacteriaceae.
It will also be showcasing the recently-launched Ceftozolane/Tazobactam 30/10 AST disc, an antibiotic developed to treat complicated urinary tract infections and sold under the brand name Zerbaxa.
Mast's sales team will be on hand throughout the event to discuss these and other products, including the new Mast DiscMaster 4, which features a novel and innovative design that provides an in-use shelf life of four weeks for all antimicrobials.
The company said: "Mast is the strategic partner of choice for antimicrobial compound development services within the pharmaceutical industry, as they are confident that Mast manufactures a product you can rely on."
Mast is headquartered near Bootle in the UK and also operates subsidiary businesses in Reinfeld in Germany and Amiens in France.
