Pentax Medical introduces new Defina ENT endoscopy system

Pentax Medical has provided an introduction to its new ear, nose and throat (ENT) endoscopy system Defina at the congress of the European Laryngological Society.

The advanced high-definition imaging platform is designed to provide enhanced ENT diagnosis and therapy, incorporating high-performance VNL-J10 Scopes for advanced flexible endoscopy ENT examinations.

Its video processor is equipped with i-scan imaging technology, making it suitable for applications such as advanced diagnosis, fiberoptic endoscopic evaluation of swallowing, and functional videostroboscopy examinations.

Other key advantages include its comfortable, user-friendly design, its innovative single-use suction control valve design and STERRAD sterilisation system compatibility, ensuring highest standards of hygiene and reprocessing.

The system will be available throughout the congress for live demonstrations and discussions with Pentax Medical experts, with a commercial launch planned later this year.
