Ceva Animal Health rebrands urinary tract support supplement

Ceva Animal Health has announced that it is relaunching its Cystease Advanced urinary tract support supplement for cats under a new name.

The feline idiopathic cystitis therapy will henceforth be known as Feliway Cystease to emphasise the importance of using the treatment alongside a Feliway diffuser for optimal results.

Specially formulated to help restore bladder lining and reduce anxiety, the product is a proven means of addressing a condition that affects up to ten percent of cats, rising to 75 percent of animals over ten years of age.

Ceva is also revamping the packaging of Feliway Cystease to offer hints and tips on how to manage feline idiopathic cystitis and reduce stress among cats.

Claire Russell, consumer product manager at Ceva Animal Health, said: "The rebrand to Feliway Cystease and new packaging will encourage cat owners to follow this gold standard treatment and obtain optimal results."

This comes after the firm introduced its new Marboxidin chewable tablets earlier this year to protect dogs and cats against a range of conditions.
