Owen Mumford names new global marketing head
Owen Mumford has announced the appointment of Richard Simmonds as its new global marketing head, as part of a wider restructuring of its business.
Mr Simmonds is to be promoted to the new role on July 1st 2013 based on his success as general manager of the firm's international non-group business unit, which handles global business development and the company's network of distributors.
He will be tasked with leading a worldwide marketing team that will offer strategic oversight and help to coordinate support for all international regions, reporting to sales and marketing director Richard Thomas.
This comes as Owen Mumford also prepares to introduce five new regional management structures for the Americas, northern Europe, central and eastern Europe, Asia Pacific and southern Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

This comes after the firm was nominated for two prizes at the 2013 Oxfordshire Business Awards earlier this month.
