Park House Healthcare earns environmental award

17th June 2013

Park House Healthcare has been recognised for its commitment to sustainability at the Bradford Means Business Awards.

The company earned the environment, health and social care business of the year prize at the awards dinner earlier this month thanks to the work of its dedicated environmental team in championing eco-friendly values.

Efforts have been made to minimise packaging usage, introduce waste segregation and recycling programmes and implement advanced decontamination facilities to reduce water use.

Meanwhile, a motion-sensing lighting system worth 40,000 pounds and speed limiters and trackers on all company vehicles have helped Park House to further cut its environmental impact.

Park House's finance director Dan Perry, who was presented with the award by Caroline Cundy of Sovereign Healthcare, said: "We have spent a large amount of time on our environmental measures and the dividends have paid off. This award highlights all the hard work, dedication and professionalism of the Park House Healthcare team."

In 2012, the firm experienced a strong annual business performance, achieving year-on-year growth for the third straight year.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801600111-ADNFCR
