TTP Labtech to supply storage and retrieval systems to Dart NeuroScience

10th June 2013

TTP Labtech has agreed a deal with pharmaceutical company Dart NeuroScience that will allow the latter organisation to make use of its modular compound storage and retrieval systems, comPOUND and comPILER.

Through this new agreement, Dart will be able to use the TTP Labtech platform to ensure safe, long-term storage of its rapidly expanding DNS small molecule compound libraries, a key area of focus for the drugmaker.

Benefits of comPOUND include its small footprint, automated operation and a flexible, modular design, with Dart to initially acquire three comPOUNDs and one comPILER system.

However, it has the scope to integrate up to ten comPOUND stores simultaneously with its comPILER platform, allowing it to expand the infrasturcture gradually as the company's capabilities grow.

James Craven, product manager for sample storage at TTP Labtech, said: "Our robust technology offers innovative operation and long-term sample viability, making comPOUND a smart long-term investment."

TTP Labtech is a leading global developer of automated laboratory equipment and is headquarted near Cambridge in the UK.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801597093-ADNFCR
