Merial hails success of Istanbul Avian Forum

Merial has highlighted some of the positive developments that took place at its recent Avian Forum industry event, which took place in Istanbul in April 2013.

Attended by 500 delegates from 73 countries, the conference discussed the future challenges facing the poultry industry, exploring many aspects of production and health, and featured expert talks on vaccines and immunity.

Presentations on key threats such as avian influenza, Newcastle disease, Gumboro disease, infectious bronchitis, salmonella and campylobacter were given, as well as lectures about various ways of improving protection for farm chickens.

This comes as part of Merial's efforts to work in partnership with customers, vets and other industry stakeholders to pursue global animal health goals.
