Henry Schein sponsors breast cancer fundraising walk

13th May 2013

Henry Schein has highlighted the work carried out by its volunteer organisation Henry's Angels in supporting the breast cancer awareness event MoonWalk, which took place in London on May 11th 2013.

A total of 54 volunteers, led by Henry Schein team members, were involved in organising the baggage tent for the walk, which saw them looking after thousands of bags left behind by the 17,000 walkers who were raising money for the cause.

The MoonWalk was organised by breast cancer charity walkthewalk and is now in its 16th year, with each of the participants in the event wearing specially-decorated bras to increase awareness of the disease.

A statement from the company said: "Henry's Angels believe that time is the most valuable commodity they can give and together they can make a big difference."

In March, Henry Schein was named as one of the most ethical companies in the world in a list compiled by Ethisphere for the second consecutive year.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801584685-ADNFCR
