Thermo Fisher Scientific presents new bioprocessing innovations
Thermo Fisher Scientific has introduced a number of bioprocessing technologies and systems for use in drug discovery and production applications.
During this week's Interphex industry conference in New York, the company has showcased a wide range of offerings, including the advanced new Thermo Scientific Aegis5-14 Film for cell culture and single-use bioprocessing applications.
Also on display were the HyPerforma Single-Use Mixer DS 300 docking station mixing solution and the company's Collaborative Technologies offering, for use in analytical testing.
In addition to these and other products, the company hosted a technology workshop on best practices for single-use films and goods.
Cory Stevenson, vice-president and general manager for bioprocess production at Thermo Fisher Scientific, said: "We continue to set new standards as a leader in bioprocessing by helping our customers efficiently progress from drug discovery to large-scale commercial production."
Earlier this month, the company announced the acquisition of Life Technologies, a multibillion-dollar merger that will create one of the largest organisations in the life sciences sector.
