Takeda announces company restructures

Takeda has confirmed the appointment of a new senior leadership team of employees as part of wider company restructuring plans.

As part of the move, the pharmaceutical organisation announced the establishment of a new enterprise, as well as the realignment of its current operations.

In addition, Takeda confirmed it is set to change the name of its existing pharmaceutical information services for ethical products department, effective from April 1st 2013.

The company has also unveiled plans for a staff reshuffle that will see former director of pharmaceutical technology research and development laboratories Shigeo Yani take on the role as head of strategic chemistry, manufacturing and control centre planning.

Last week, Takeda announced it had received a decision from the President of National Tax Tribunal related to the correction notice on transfer pricing.

The ruling determined the company would be given a refund of all corporate tax, accumulated interest and local levies based on the reinvestigation.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801561445-ADNFCR
