Kimberly-Clark appoints chief marketing officer
Kimberly-Clark has announced the appointment of Clive Sirkin as its new vice-president and chief marketing officer (CMO).
Mr Sirkin originally joined the company in 2007 and has occupied a number of marketing-related roles, leveraging his extensive experience in the advertising sector.
For 16 years from 1989, he worked at advertising giant Leo Burnett in a series of increasingly prominent positions, ending his time at the agency as its worldwide group managing director.
He has been credited with playing an instrumental role in building strong, healthy brands and businesses worldwide since joining Kimberly-Clark.
Tony Palmer, president of global brands and innovation at Kimberly-Clark, said: "As CMO, Clive will continue the ongoing transformation of our marketing function as a core driver of our growth agenda."
This comes after the company appointed Jennifer Sepull as its new chief information officer and vice-president of IT services in January 2013, and Nancy Loewe as its chief strategy officer in November 2012.
