Lab M hosts ERAM meeting at new headquarters

Lab M has hailed the success of the recent discussion meeting of the Eastern Region Association of Microbiologists (ERAM) that took place at its new headquarters in Heywood.

Members of the industry body gathered at the Greater Manchester location on March 8th 2013 to discuss food microbiology and accreditation issues, while also receiving input from Lab M staff and being given a tour of the facilities.

ERAM is the first organisation to hold a meeting at the site since Lab M moved into the premises in July 2012, with the general consensus being that this inaugural event was a significant success.

This encouraging outcome is likely to mean that the company will open its doors to more meetings of this kind in future.

Lab M's managing director Ian Morris said: "Working with customers, industry and professional bodies is something we have always done and since we moved into new headquarters last year, we are even better equipped to continue."

Earlier this month, the company noted that the facility has received unanimous praise from independent inspectors for its programme of continuous quality improvement.
