Hill-Rom appoints new board member

Hill-Rom has announced the appointment of Hank Kucheman to its board of directors, allowing the company to take advantage of his broad medical industry experience.

Mr Kucheman has a strong healthcare background and earned qualifications at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University before embarking on a successful career spanning various high-profile appointments.

He recently served as interim chief executive officer of medical technology firm Boston Scientific, while also taking responsibility at other points for its cardiology, rhythm and vascular group and its marketing operations.

Additionally, he has been a member of the board of directors of the Global Health Exchange.

Rolf Classon, chairman of Hill-Rom's board, said: "The combination of his strategic knowledge, operational experience and his background in sales and marketing adds valuable and complementary skills."

Earlier this month, the company declared a fiscal year 2013 second-quarter dividend of $0.125 (0.084 pounds) per share, which will be paid out on March 29th.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801555086-ADNFCR
