Welch Allyn showcases new products at HIMSS event

Welch Allyn has given a presentation of a number of its new products at the 2013 Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) trade show in New Orleans, which took place this week.

Among the offerings on display were the EarlySense Contact-Free Patient Monitoring and Electronic Vitals Documentation Systems, innovative monitoring technology that Welch Allyn is helping to distribute as part of a collaboration with EarlySense.

The firm also offered a demonstration of the Connex Electronic Vitals Documentation System, a device that facilitates the process of collecting and transferring patient data, with the aid of its in-built Welch Allyn Connex Vital Signs Monitor, a full-colour touchscreen interface.

Dave Perkins, senior category manager for vital signs at Welch Allyn, said: "The products offer easy-to-use features and options that provide clinicians with access to information they need to provide the best possible patient care."
