Norbrook Laboratories launches Cleanor ear cleaner

Norbrook Laboratories has introduced a new ear cleaner product for cats and dogs that aims to make the process as easy and stress-free as possible for animals and owners.

The new Cleanor product has been developed for regular routine cleaning for the removal of excessive ear wax from the ear canal, providing a moisturising effect to the ear canal's delicate epithelium.

It comes with a long, soft and flexible nozzle that offers easy access to the ear canal, while it has also been designed to be gentle enough to treat sensitive ears.

Available in a choice of two sizes, Cleanor's launch is being supported by educational brochures that will help veterinary practices to discuss good ear cleaning practice with their clients.

Michelle Jones, Norbrook's brand manager for its small animals division, said: "Ear disease represents one of the most common skin problems seen in veterinary practice. Checking the cat or dog's ears should be part of the normal health routine for pet owners."

Norbrook is currently attempting to broaden the international scope of its business, striking a deal with Bayer HealthCare in August 2012 that will see Bayer distributing Norbrook products in Germany and France.
