BMI Healthcare doctors recognised in top 250 guide

BMI Healthcare has welcomed the inclusion of 82 of its consultants in the Tatler magazine Best Doctors Guide for 2013.

Compiled by a panel of distinguished GPs and fellow consultants, the guide recognises the 250 brightest and most respected surgeons, doctors and medical experts in the UK, covering 34 categories from allergies to vascular surgery.

The 82 BMI Healthcare consultants practice at 17 of the organisation's hospitals across the country.

BMI Healthcare's group chief executive Stephen Collier said this is indicative of the high standards to which it holds its doctors, clinical teams and state-of-the-art medical facilities.

He added: "Having so many consultants in the guide is a great honour for us and I would like to congratulate those recognised in this guide."

Last month, BMI Healthcare handed out a series of patient care initiative awards to staff who were judged to have gone above and beyond in ensuring the very highest standards of care are available to patients.
