Shimadzu launches Nexera X2 chromatography system

Shimadzu has announced the launch of Nexera X2, the latest addition to its range of ultra-high-performance liquid chromatographs (UHPLCs).

Building on existing strengths of the Nexera UHPLC, the new device offers higher-core performance and new features that improve analytical efficiency for a wide range of applications.

It has been released alongside the SPD-M30A photodiode array detector, with the two systems usable in conjunction with each other to deliver high sensitivity and separation qualities.

The Nexera X2 also incorporates a completely new function, i-PDeA, to provide the ultimate in peak separation and highly reliable analysis.

Shimadzu said: "With this flexibility, in combination with new advanced features, the Nexera X2 series is a cutting-edge UHPLC offering both state-of-the-art functionality and the highest performance levels."

The manufacturer also introduced a new integrated digestion platform system called Perfinity this week, for use in automated enzymatic digestion of proteins.
