Ketchum appoints new global healthcare practice lead

1st October 2012

Ketchum has announced the appointment of Amanda Sefton as director of its global healthcare practice, effective as of December 1st 2012.

Ms Sefton possesses 15 years of experience working for some of the world's largest healthcare organisations across Europe, North America and Asia, spanning sectors from pharmaceuticals to patient advocacy and service delivery.

She was named a Ketchum partner in June and has served as managing director of the agency's London healthcare practice, a role she will continue to fill during a transition period in which a successor will be identified.

Her industry expertise, entrepreneurial instincts, collaborative approach and forward-thinking mentality have been cited as key reasons for her promotion.

Dale Bornstein, senior partner and director of global practices at Ketchum, said: "As we look to the future, our ability to bring integrated, real-world solutions forward – reflective of cross-practice, cross-capability multichannel thinking – will be critical to our clients' success."

This comes after the company named Harry King as practice director for its London healthcare team last month.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801460657-ADNFCR
