BMI Healthcare’s Clementine Churchill Hospital wins award

25th September 2012

BMI Healthcare has congratulated the spinal care practice at the Clementine Churchill Hospital in Harrow after it earned a prestigious award.

The team's spinal care practice nurse Herman Yabut has earned a 2012 Independent Healthcare Award, honouring the contribution he has made to patient care, consultant engagement and service delivery since joining in 2009.

In the past two years, the hospital's spine service has been nominated for three Independent Healthcare Awards, including a nod at this year's awards for its implementation of the pioneering O-arm Surgical Imaging Device.

The awards recognise teams and individuals whose dedication and commitment represents the best elements of the UK independent healthcare sector.

Jan Hale, executive director at BMI The Clementine Churchill Hospital, said: "Our continued investment into the service is helping us push forward spinal treatment in the UK. But the investment would mean nothing without a fantastic team behind it."

Earlier this year, The Kings Oak Hospital – another London-based BMI Healthcare facility – received a personal visit from MP Nick de Bois, who spoke with staff about the role the hospital plays in providing healthcare for the local community.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801456041-ADNFCR
