Speed Communications appoints new managing directors
Speed Communications has announced that Kate Bosomworth and Scott McLean have been appointed as joint managing directors of the company.
Mr Earl has been promoted after initially joining the agency last year, while Ms Bosomworth is the former managing director and founder of KTB PR, which was acquired by Speed in July 2012.
Their appointment follows the separate decisions of Stephen Waddington and Steve Earl, the company's founding leaders, to pursue individual opportunities outside of Speed.
It also comes at a time when the company is making efforts to become a top 20 multi-sector PR agency by 2015, with the takeover of KTB seen as an important first step.
Will Whitehorn, chairman of Speed, said: "Kate and Scott have superb track records of committed and inspiring leadership, growing great businesses and delivering exceptional PR campaigns."
The agency was founded in 2009 and now works with a number of internationally renowned clients, including Virgin Media, Toshiba, Tesco, Adidas and the Associated Press.
