Ketchum Pleon appoints healthcare practice director

Ketchum Pleon has announced the appointment of Harry King as practice director for its healthcare team, which will help to support the continued growth of the business.

Mr King joins the media agency from Porter Novelli, where he spent seven years of his career, most recently occupying a position on its senior healthcare leadership team.

He has experience of a wide variety of healthcare communications disciplines, including PR and medical education, and will bring additional senior weight to Ketchum Pleon's operations.

Mr King expressed excitement about joining the agency and said he will be working with the existing team to deliver innovative ways of meeting communications challenges.

Amanda Sefton, managing director for healthcare at Ketchum Pleon, added: "Harry brings a proven track record as a trusted advisor to clients and team members alike, together with a hunger for new approaches to healthcare communications."

Ms Sefton was appointed to her current role on Ketchum Pleon's healthcare team earlier this year, succeeding Susannah Knox.
