Colgate to launch 2012 Oral Health Month this September

22nd August 2012

Colgate has announced that Oral Health Month will be held for the tenth time in September 2012.

The dental supplier will be allying with the British Dental Association to raise awareness of the importance of good oral health, with initiatives including radio adverts, an online question and answer session, and a series of roadshows.

For the 2012 edition, the campaign theme will be Oral Health as Part of Overall Health and will focus on messages such as the need to brush regularly with fluoride toothpaste, to avoid sugary snacks and drinks and to regularly visit the dentist.

Registered dental practices across the UK will receive Colgate Oral Health Month practice packs containing educational materials in order to help reinforce these ideas.

Meanwhile, the roadshows will be held in locations such as London, Cardiff, Reading, Bath, Birmingham, Liverpool, Manchester, Sheffield, Newcastle and Glasgow, with attending dental hygienists and therapists to offer advice to members of the public.

This follows on from the success of the US version of Oral Health Month, which was organised by Colgate in June.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801434577-ADNFCR
