Zaicom MMC recruits medical writer
Zaicom MMC has announced the appointment of Katharine Peregrin as a medical writer, bringing a range of useful academic experience to the agency.
Ms Peregrin has worked as a cancer research specialist with a particular focus on neuro-oncology for the last eight years, while she also has extensive expertise with solid and haematological malignancies, reports InPharm.
She will be responsible for producing editorial communications materials in the field of oncology, leveraging her experience in teaching masters-level cancer science and biomedical science students at Kingston University.
During her long career, Ms Peregrin has presented her work internationally and spoke at the British Neuro-Oncology Society and Brain Tumour UK patient conferences in 2010.
She was also awarded a research grant by the Skin Cancer Research Fund in 2009 and published a number of peer-reviewed journals, as well as contributing to chapters for publications by Wiley and Springer.
