Heraeus Kulzer has earned a strong review of its Venus Temp 2 provisional material from a leading industry publication.
The company has been awarded a four-plus rating for the product from The Dental Advisor, based on evaluation by 32 consultants spanning 665 uses.
Consultants gave Venus Temp 2 an impressive 90 percent score after it was successfully used for long-span bridges and other multi-unit cases, with the material also earning high marks for aesthetics, polishability and setting times.
Of those involved in the trial, 84 percent said they would recommend the Heraeus product, while 72 percent were keen on switching to the material from their current solution.
Dental professional Lee Ann Brady, who was involved in preliminary testing of the product, said: "As a loyal user of Venus Temp 2, I heartily agree with The Dental Advisor and its assessment of this provisional's exceptional performance characteristics."
This comes after the magazine recently gave praise to another Heraeus product, the Flexitime impression material, which was described as an effective clinical problem solver by the publication.
