Heraeus has highlighted a recent positive testimony received by its Flexitime impression material from a leading industry publication.
The Dental Advisor has designated the material as a clinical problem solver after the journal's 11 contributing editors named it as a product that can be used when faced with challenging situations.
Flexitime won praise for its combination of heavy body and light body materials, the fact it offers an accurate marginal fit and the 30-second working time it provides for routine cases.
The Flexitime product line includes regular set vinylpolysiloxane and an Xtreme fast-setting option, as well as a Dynamix speed automatic mixing machine and Bite registration material.
Contributing editor Jim Olsen said: "When I have large restorative cases, I often need to make multiple pours of an impression to get several study models. Finding a material that holds up well without tears or distortion is the challenge."
Earlier this year, the company launched Venus Pearl, a soft and adaptable nano-hybrid dental composite.
