BCF Technology launches new VGA Bug viewing device

BCF Technology has announced the launch of the VGA Bug, a new goggle-based viewing device for use in conjunction with the Easi-Scan and Duo-Scan ultrasound scanners.
The product is an upgraded version of the existing Bug device and features an expanded viewing display, as well as a lightweight build that weighs in at only 235 grams.
Using these goggles, animal health professionals can see the ultrasound image in front of their eyes while retaining their peripheral vision, while their lack of bulk means they can be worn all day without strain.
BCF customers told the company that they wanted a product combining the lower cost of the LCD Bugs with their softer image to the OLED version, as well as an image that appears closer to the eyes.
Annie Makin from BCF said: "The VGA Bugs have a softer, larger and wider image, which customers responded well to in the testing stages."
Last week, BCF reported that its digital X-ray equipment had been used to treat an injured osprey by the Scottish SPCA.
