GlaxoSmithKline's Maximuscle sports nutrition brand will be sponsoring the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes Formula One team for the rest of the 2012 racing season.
The company will continue to supply the product for use by drivers during their away-from-track training for the remainder of this year's races, while the brand will appear as an on-car logo.
It means that the brand will continue to be associated with Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button, two of the sport's most high-profile stars.
Moreover, GlaxoSmithKline's Lucozade will also remain the official sports and energy drink partner of the McLaren team and will be consumed by the drivers for hydration.
James O'Shea, marketing director for Maximuscle's parent company Maxinutrition, said: "Training and recovery between races is just as important as what happens on the track."
The Maxinutrition product range also includes Maxifuel and Maxitone, while partners include Wales RFU, the England and Wales Cricket Board, UK Sport, Everton FC and Fulham FC.
