Idexx Laboratories has published its financial report for the second quarter of 2012, during which it experienced a six percent year-on-year growth in revenues.
The company generated $335.6 million (213.89 million pounds) in sales during the period, a total which it expects to increase further in the coming quarter through the launch of its new Pet Health Network Pro and VetConnect Plus offerings.
Moreover, Idexx will be introducing a new organisational structure that will see three operating executive vice-presidents taking control of all global operations and reporting directly to chairman and chief executive officer Jonathan Ayers.
Existing Idexx employees Johnny Powers and Michael Williams will be promoted to fill two of these roles, while the third will be occupied by Jay Mazelsky, who joins from Philips Healthcare.
Mr Ayers said: "I look forward to working closely with this executive team, as well as our broader leadership team, in the years ahead to promote continued growth and innovation at Idexx."
This comes after the firm appointed Anne Szostak to its board of directors earlier this month.
